In early March of 2020, I fell ill with COVID. That on top of years of chronic lyme disease and mold toxicity pushed my body into Mast Cell Activation, and overnight many simple foods began to make me sick. I soon learned that even ‘healthy’ foods can contain histamine, which causes dangerous side effects in compromised people like me. Eliminating histemic foods and cooking practices helped get me to a steadier place as I explored the impact of COVID on my body and restructured my life around trying to battle post-COVID syndromes. And soon, I realized that there were many other COVID-affected people also struggling to feed themselves.

The recipes on this site are all low histamine, dairy free, gluten free, and as refined sugar free as possible. I also try to create recipes that are budget friendly and freezer friendly. Welcome to the post-COVID family. I hope your stay is as short as possible.
